Pick up and drop off  procedures require patience and cooperation from all parents.  As we work together, we will all find the process to be efficient and safe for our children.  Please read over the procedures carefully.  All students will be assigned a pick up number at the beginning of the school year.

DROP OFF

1. Before school parents, please park and bring your children into the building as usual.
2. All other guardians are asked to drop off children between 7:45 am and 8:00 am. If your child is dropped off before this time, they will need to go to the before school program.
3. Parents, when dropping off, drive into the front right hand parking lot (NW) and turn into the first aisle. Go around the back of the lot, to the last aisle and drive to the front curb. Cars will need to line up along the drop off area in front of the building.
4. Do not get out of your cars when in the line. A staff member will help children out of cars.
5. Children will go directly to their classrooms between 7:45 and 8:00 am.
6. A staff member will be on the curb until 8:00 am. All students who are tardy must be signed in by parents.
7. Classes will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

PICK UP

This procedure has been used in numerous schools, and is very effective if everyone cooperates. Please read over the following procedures, which will be implemented on Monday, October 1.

1. All families will be given a number printed on card stock. Look for you number card early next week. Post your number card in your car, on the visor or on the car dash, where it is visible from the outside
2. Enter the front, east parking lot, and go around the back and line up in the same procedure as morning drop off, along the curb in front of the building
3. Students will be lined up in the side parking lot in a staging area behind the yellow barrier poles.
4. Car pool numbers will be called out and students will walk along the side walk and be loaded into cars.
5. Tell your children, and those children who ride in your car pool, your number card. They will learn the number with practice.
6. Please stay in your car and pull forward as the line moves forward.
7. Parents may still park and pick up children, but please park in a space on the north side of the parking lot, so that the first aisle is not blocked.

We recognize that it will take some time for everyone to learn the new procedures, but once the steps are learned, we will be able to load cars safely and efficiently within 15 minutes.

NOTE: It is very important that on leaving the parking lot, that all cars turn SOUTH or right. Please- NO Left hand turns, as these cars block the entire pick-up and drop-off line. Thank you for your cooperation.
