Kirk Loadman-Copeland- President. klc1u@msn.com Kirk Loadman-Copeland has served as a minister of Unitarian Universalist congregations for 17 years following a 15 year career in business. He is a founding member of GVA-Aurora (2005) and serves as President of the Northglenn Campus Board. His skills include organizational development, strategic planning, marketing, grant writing, and governance. He has two daughters at GVA-Aurora in the Mandarin Village.
Shelly Humphreys - s.a.humphreys@comcast.net Shelly Humphreys is an Executive Consultant in the Cable & Telecommunications Industry. With more than 20 years experience in Business, Shelly has worked for Fortune 500 companies including Charter Communications, MCI, EDS, and Qwest. Her experience includes more than 10 years of working in the international arena and she has a wide breadth of experience including management, systems engineering, product line responsibility, project management, vendor management, and management consulting. Shelly holds a master's degree in telecommunications and a bachelor of business administration in management information systems. She is also an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications, currently serving on the Rocky Mountain Chapter Board focused on Mentoring. Shelly has been involved with GVA Governance since the school opened in 2007 initially serving on the School Advisory Committee and joining the GVA Board in 2010. Shelly’s daughter attends GVA-Aurora in the Mandarin Village.
Ron Tupa, rontupa@mac.com Ron Tupa is a former teacher, democratic state representative and senator who represented the city of Boulder in the CO General Assembly for 14 years (1994-2008), ending his tenure as Vice-Chairman of the Senate Education Committee. While in office, Ron taught high school social studies (civics, economics, and geography) for 10 years, and served on numerous boards and commissions related to education or education reform. He is currently the Director of State Legislatures for Democrats for Education Reform. Ron graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Philosophy and a minor in HR Management, and received his teaching certificate from CU-Boulder.
